globalmkts 0 Posted August 4, 2001 If you buy it, dis-mantle it, clean it and replace the bearings if needed. Inspect the armature, windings, etc. These are great if: 1. You need to weld implements on the farm and cannot get power to the source. Otherwise forget it. If you need a stick welder and you have AC power, go out and buy a used one.
