Cultivator Adjustment

I just got a rear attaching cultivator for my B110. I went to hook it up today and the adjustment on it is all wrong-- it points down into the ground rather than sitting level. I've run the lower arms up and down the slots with no luck. It's almost like I need a longer top link. This may be an incredibly stupid question, but were there different top links for different pieces of equipment? I assumed the one I had fits everything. Thanks!

Hope it helps you find your sweet spot on the setup of your rig. All I ask for compensation is some pictures! ;)

She doesn't get off easy just cuz she looks good for her age...I finally figured out the 'Reed' way to hook up my log saw too. I'll have to get brave and stick the blade on and snap some pics of that.

excellent photography - highly illustrative but I have to ask is that part of the cultivator, or is that a 'one point' hitch, on the bottom links, close in to the tractor itself. ?? (just as i think i have hitches figured out, uhhh maybe not)

It's just the standard Simplicity hitch...not a sleeve or one point. It hooks up same as a tiller or revitalizer, but the hitch component of the cultivator has adjustment that, when set correctly, keeps the cultivator vertical through all the lift range of the tractors lift. The cultivator should never begin leaning forward or aft...as it is lowered into the soil, further and further, it stays perpendicular to the level ground.
