valve job/question on kohler command

Recommended Posts

The kohler command that I have on my zeroturn, I took the heads off and dropped off for valve jobs. Question is, with the hydraulic lifters and no adjustments on the valves, when the valve job is done and the valve sits further into the seat, does this mess with anything or will the hydraulic lifter make up for the difference. The engine shop guy was asking me if there was a spec on the valves as far as standoff etc. and if the stems need to be milled etc. to make up for it.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
