Freshening up the GTHL

Well, waiting on the new rings for the KT17, the rest of the engine was amazingly clean. After discovering the failed breather assembly, and while th engine was out I decided to do a quick hone and put in new rings. Overall, this is a great, clean tractor, and when it's all back together I think it may be a keeper. What I see they are asking for some of the large frames makes me rethink though....

Most of the KT17's seem to wear very little, I haven't seen any so far with significantly worn cylinders, and the cranks wear even less. I thought it looked interesting your breather tube appears to be from a vertical shaft magnum engine, And as you said, that machine is in great condition!

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
