Unofficial Home of Old Simplicity & Allis-Chalmers Garden Tractors

What does this mean?

Recommended Posts

On the attachment page for my 7012 for a tiller it shows this under 'no kit needed' but I'm not sure what it means. Will someone tell me how to understand it? Landlord Mfg. No. 990270, 269, 233, 232, 169, 168 Does the listing 169 in that group mean that it will fit all tractors that the number starts with 169 such as 1690352? larry

No Larry, The Mfr. numbers you have listed start with 990. When you ordered the 990169 kit from the dealer new, all the necessary parts were in the box. Simplicity changed their Mfr. numbering system from "990xxx" to "169xxxx" shortly after your tractor was made. It looks as though the kits needed were either a belt, or the rear lift group.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
