7116 carb tune-up

Recommended Posts

Engine is 326437-0649-01 tractor is 1691382. I ordered a full carb tune-up kit and have the engine manual stating that the initial settings are 1 1/2 turns out for needle valve and 1 turn out for idle then tune from there. I removed the nozzle (3" long tube with 2 sets of holes that sits behind the needle valve) to check that the holes are clear. How far back in does it go? I see where it contacts a hole in the carb underneath the butterfly shutter and if it goes to far it contacts the shutter.

You tube briggs cast 16 carb rebuild. Zippo Varga is a member on here and has everything you need to know on videos on you tube. Has a 3 part video specifically on that. Steve

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
