Voltage Regulator Burned Up

Recommended Posts

BAP
Yesterday when I was rototilling my garden, two of the three posts on the voltage regulator on my Kohler K341 in a AC716H burned off. They melted the rivets that hold the little tabs onto the circuit board and the area around it. Does anybody know if these are still available? Also what is the part number and is it a Simplicity item, or Kohler or is there an aftermarket source? I tried looking for a parts book on the simplicity site, but the ID#1690014 of my tractor only came up with a owners manual for a Simplicity 7016H with a Briggs and Straton engine. Thanks for any help you can give me. BAPsm02

Thanks for the info and the links. I have the Kohler parts manual for this motor and found the part number based on your help. I didn't know before that I could use it because the regulators didn't look the same. BAPsm01
