Hello, I'm new here and this is my 1st simplicity. I bought a 17GTH-L and can't remember the configuration of the deck belt. Could anyone that has one or a similar model snap a picture of how that belt wraps around the pulleys? Thanks a lot, Mike. Here's a picture of the well taken care of machine. Thanks for that but I actually need the one on the side of the tractor. I guess that would be the deck drive belt?

The "front pulley" in this decal is the one on the mower deck. It shows the routing around the two idlers from the PTO pulley under the seat (not shown). You'll know if you get the belt on wrong because the blades will turn backwards...been there done that

Hope this helps, its all I've got now... Welcome sm01

Can you explain how you change a name of a link to a manual. Like you did above to a short word? I have always wondered how that is done. Thanks

The easiest way to describe I think would be to see for yourself. This site doesn't allow "reply with qoutes" but the site where I linked from does. If you are a member over there you can just try a "reply w/ qoutes" to the manual link so you can see what it looks like. If that doesn't work I can try and explain it in an understandable way. When I just tried in my head it didn't sound so good though. lol let me know.

whoops I don't know how to edit here and forgot the [url="http://www.mytractorforum.com/showthread.php?t=240344"]link[/url] OK hit the hyper link button and put in your url but right after the first url put the = sign and wrap that actual link in qoutes then in between the 2 url tags put your word that you want shown. sounds super confusing. I think you need to see it. :)

It's kinda strange - but someone explained it to me once. I changed a site reference to protect the innocent. Here it is: ============================================. Here's how to do the URL thing :) I'll use ( and ) in place of [ and ], just so the interpreter doesn't process them. (url=insert_url_here)put cool link text here(/url) eg. (url=http://www.bom.gov.au)Bureau of Meteorology Australia(/url) and with () replace to []: Bureau of Meteorology Australia :) You can also put [img] tags inside the url (where "cool link text" goes), and that'll turn an image into a link. I haven't tried that on XWEBSITEX, but it worked on another forum which uses phpbb.

All that sytax is explained here: http://simpletractors.com/club2/faq.asp I'm too lazy, since I inevitably screw it up and have to edit it until it is correct, so I just let the HTTP address automatically convert to a URL... :O:D
