Are rear lifts "universal"

Is there a difference in the many rear lift assemblies that are out there? I know you can make one from scratch with the instructions in the DIY sections, but there always seems to be a few on ebay for about what materials would cost. Is there a major difference between the parts? The cable attachment points look a bit different on some of them, but that seems to be something that can be fixed fairly easily. This is for a 7116 (1691382)

You can use the old B series rear lifts as long as you don`t plan to use a Brinly moldboard. If you do decide to you can always weld what is needed to ther rear lift for the lift rod. I have a B series rear lift on my 916H. The bushing that is needed is still available from Simplicity. The cable from the rockshaft to the rearlift works fine on the older rearlifts. http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8cuN4rE3Cvh5kbp796Dq http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=jgEBGP_eqQ0tG5EPa7mRgtLvBCd6 http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=jgEBGP_dyO4tG5EPa7mRgtLvBCd6

If you plan to use the lift from a 300 or 400 AC tractor, those are 1 1/8 diameter instead of the 1 inch diameter of the other tractors. I have one of those on my AC 716H.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
