Larry, it is probably necessary to post pix of what you have already. Rear of tractor, the tiller, and any hitch or drive parts you have. Then the tiller experts can hopefully fill in the blanks.

From what I can see you need the lift assembly, and the double pulley that mounts on the left side where that rod sticks out.

Could someone who has one as I need post some pictures for me to see. That would really help. larry

You will need the rear lift below. http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=jgEBGP_eqQ0tG5EPa7mRgtLvBCd6 http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8arI4rE3Cvh5kbp796Dq

Thanks to you all I can start to make some sense of this. It is hard when you are not familiar with the tractor and you don't know what should be there or what it looks like. Lots of clean up and looking to do now as I can. larry

Steve, in your 1st picture you show a lever with a spring on it in front of the rear end. Should I have that?

Larry, The lever/spring you asked about is for Steve's gear tranny. On your hydro, you have a spring mounted sideways to keep tension on the hydro speed cam.
