CCKB Manually rotating the engine

With key on, not running, Turn on the front PTO clutch and turn engine by hand with the large pulley that feeds the mower deck. You need to disconnect both spark plugs in case it would fire up.

If you have a front PTO, and if that PTO has the pulley bolted to the end of the crankshaft, you can easily and very accurately turn the engine over with a socket and ratchet. Pull the plugs before anything however.

      Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work.
