Which spark plug for this engine

Recommended Posts

Briggs part number 29693 which is superceded to 796112S. Champion equivalent is J19LM or RJ19LM. Allis service manual calls for Champion J8, Autolite A71 or AC GC46 Other brands that replace the Champion J8 are below. Not sure what the differences are in the J19LM or RJ19LM plugs? Maybe a hotter plug than the 29693 in Briggs parts manual for the 23D. I believe the "R" on a RJ19LM means resistor. http://www.sparkplug-crossreference.com/convert/CHAMP_PN/J8%20 Not trying to cause any confusion:D, but that is what the two different manuals call for and there are a lot of equivalents from other brands out there.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
