rear end compatibility

They would both use the vickers hydro so they would be a good fit though there are a few differences that come to mind. You did not mention if you plan to swap from the BGB on back or just the transmission. The BGB is different along with the addition of the cone clutch on the 3400 series, the rear brackets that the seat pan hinges on would be different, and the differential assembly, hub and axle are visually different but would function about the same. You will need to change out the BGB. The driven shaft in the BGB is longer on the 3410H. Simply removing the cone clutch won`t allow it to work. The driven shaft are different diameters and on the PTO side of the driven shaft it has a key way cut into it back to the side plate so that the PTO pulley will get to where it needs to be.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
