stinger w/hydro lift?

Recommended Posts

Do you all think it will harm the hydro lift on my 2012 if I use the stinger and donut weight in the rear lift too? I didn't know if it would lead to damage to the hydro lift system if I left the stinger and donut in. thanks in advance, -Tim

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you have the snowblower mounted on the front??? The only difference it would make is the fact that there won't be as much weight on the blower housing when it is down. It might even make steering easier with the blower down. Providing you are using the float position of course.;);) And of course you won't be working the hydraulics as much with the weight on there. You could try this too. With the tractor OFF, put the lift lever in float, and go to the front and lift the blower housing by hand, first with the weights on, then without. See the difference??

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah, TimFlury, that's what I was thinking. Ok, I'll try it with it off and see what happens (that is, when it's not hotter than Hades outside). Thanks again

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
