redo on HB212 engine

Recommended Posts

I restored a HB212 2 years ago but the engine ran good so I left it alone. I notice now I'm starting to use some oil. I'm thinking this winter I may tear down the engine (original and never rebuilt) and bore it out with new piston, rings, and bearings. Any idea what cost I'll have in it to redo and do it right. The work I can do myself. The machine work and parts is what cost you.

I just rebuilt the same 12 hp engine as is in your tractor. Below is the link to my post about it. It includes all the info about the parts and prices. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=121437

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
