The 412 Loader-Episode IV

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away....... The 412 Loader was on a simplicity garden tractor. The tractor and all subframe components long gone. The 412 Loader has now found it's way into my hands and desperately wants and needs to be mounting on an Allis Chalmers Big Ten. With the help of this site and the members the build has begun. It will be a slow process, the next month or so, but it will live again!!! I will update the progress as it happens and I'll take plenty of pictures. Thanks in advance to those who have already helped me and those who will contribute. 1. Wheel Spacers: None came with the loader, but thanks to a member, a pair found their way to my house and were installed on Saturday. A helpful hint from another member was to use locking collars (minus the set screw) as spacers between the wheel spacer and hub. Next on the to do list is get the new fabricated front bushing and install. Then on to the subframe and finally install the loader! More to come....

Nice find Chris, I'd call it a 515 loader....or am I missing something? http://www.simpletractors.com/operation/515_loader/front_loader_515.htm FYI, If you go with a weight box, your high/low pully will not work, they will hit each other. Keep up the good work, great addition to the collection. sm01

Yes you are correct 515 Loader, I am referring to the model number of 412 which is on the tag. I will most likely try to find a 10" pulley and put the HI-LO on the B-10. I am also assuming I won't be able to run the tiller on this set up as well. I think I need another tractor:D

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
