As far as I know the spindles are pretty much the same for a variety of models. The rare piece on the 210 is the double pulley which sits atop the center spindle shaft. However, I noted looking through some literature that there was a replacement single pulley kit offered to do away with the double belt setup. I'm sure Sandy Lake Implement (advertiser here on the site)would have something to help you out, or I and or others here could come up with something. I do not like rebuilding the older spindles because thet are hard to get apart without ruining one thing or another. Sam

I just replaced my center spindle (dble pulley type) on my 1962 mongomery ward mower deck. The same as a simplicity 725. Sandy Lake was most helpful, they even faxed me some drawings of my mower deck. I also replaced the bearings and it runs great. John

Just to clarify. The pulley/belt setup that Sam was referring to is a type 3V, 13/16" wide double-V belt, as shown below. It was used on at least some of the 1969-1970 model Landlords, Sovereigns and equivalent AC B-210 and B-212s. I don't think ALL of these models used it, but I'm not sure. There was a later "kit" to convert them to a standard V-belt... My B-210 still uses them. They're expensive ($40 plus) but VERY tough. I've slung mine off several times without damaging it when the deck suddenly drops off something that's a few inches tall -- like a curb, ditchbank, etc. -- and the deck drops down farther than the "PTO preload" spring can compensate for quickly.... http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/cs_3v.gif
