Thatchin'

Yard is a mess so got a cheap pull behind agri-fab thatcher.Started putting it together and thought-nah-I'll put this thing on a sleeve hitch.Used the tongue for the brinly box blade after flipping it over so it could be bolted to the thatcher frame.Used a 1/4" x 4" piece of flat stock to stiffen things up.Seems to work good. Now I'll have to get Worx batt-powered bag mower out and clean the mess u p. Very cool...gotta get seat time somehow, right? :D If I thatched my lawn right now, there would be nothing left but sand!

I redone it so it would float and it's working much better.Replaced the lift rod with a chain, and added 30lb of weight.

This is the first time I've used it in a couple months. Was planning on taking it up to Grandma's and laying some stripes, but no rain,no mow.

The actuator lifts stuff on the back and a rod runs to the front rockshaft to lift the mower deck or snowblower.Thread; http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=121054

Great,so far.If someone has a roller and needs a 10 horse Briggs,the S/G and all the wiring,carb,air cleaner,basically everything to make a roller go.100 bucks.Engine has less than 10hrs since overhauled.

My thatcher conversion is on the 2013 Project list. Except for the hitch, yours looks very much like the one I have. Wish I was that far along in rebuilding the 2110. Wayne
