Mower Blades for the 60 Inch Sunstar Deck

Recommended Posts

As the title notes, im looking to get some new blades for my 60 inch simplicity sunstar deck. I'm aware that one of the blades spins in the opposite direction, and wondering what my options are. The current blades are beat to hell, dime size chunks out of em, etc definitely need replacing. As is the mower bogs down the point of stalling in grass any taller than 4 inches. I plan to be cutting some fairly high grass, perhaps as tall as 7-8 inches on occasion and was wondering what the best blades for me might be. Ill take ability to power through thick grass over a nice fine finish any day if I have to choose one. I would love to set up a meg-mo system for it, as those seem to absolutely breeze through tall grass and turn it into dust you dont even have to rake, but i dont know if itll work with the reverse blade. Ideas?

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
