B12 Gas tank shut off valve

Recommended Posts

I would like to replace the shut off valve on my B12 with a fuel line elbow. I have a in-line filter and shut off valve already installed. The current factory shut off valve is leaking. Any suggestions on a replacement? Thanks, Chris

Use an elbow that has NPT on one end & a barbed fitting on the other with a hose clamp Not sure of the size but like; 1/4"NPT x 1/4"Barbed 90degree ELL I used one on my B12 and it sealed/worked great sm01

I did try snugging the nut up. I'll check again to make sure it didn't do the trick. I figured there must be a plastic square elbow like on the carb! Hey I just had a brain fart! Would that plastic elbow work? Hmm I might try that as I have a few extra carbs laying around.

I have had good luck with this style valve. They also come in different configurations. http://www.jackssmallengines.com/searchresults.cfm?cx=008737122150761418589%3Ac24nnqwh7co&cof=FORID%3A11&q=698182
