Walbro Carb repair

Recommended Posts

I'm repairing a walbro carb #5205350 on a KT17 and am looking for the float adjustment specifications, I've looked in the carb manual I have but it only shows the kohler carb. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks.

I recently rebuilt the same carb for my KT17 series II, http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=122708&SearchTerms=needle,valve My conclusion was that the plastic float uses the viton tipped needle valve with the helical spring. There is no adjustment to the float, the helical spring applies pressure to shut off fuel flow. Hope this helps, John U

The kit came with two needle valves one with the spring and one without, I was using the one without. the one with the spring works right. Thanks for the help

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
