Brinly?

Was wondering if Brinly has an on going relationship with Simplicity. Seems to me that a lot of the attachments for the tractors look the same as the Brinly attachments one can buy sepperately, both new, and old. Just curious Gord U

I think Brinly has produced "approved" attachments for Simplicity since the early 70's, at least. In the 1960's Simplcity made their own plows, but by the mid-70s at least, they distributed those made by Brinly instead... I don't know the details on all the harrows, but I think Simplicity stopped making their own harrows about 1970 also.

I get the impression that Brinley had been a driving force in standardizing the sleeve type hitch and the cat "0" three point hitch. Their equipment fits on a lot of tractors both Simplicity/AC and many others. Paul
