wheel weights

Recommended Posts

I answered a craigslist ad Sunday for some rear wheel weights. They were black in the picture, but when I called him, he said he just painted them yellow. I went to look at them and he tells me he painted them yellow so he could list them as John Deere and get more money out of them. Might have worked, but he used the wrong color yellow. When I got there he had the 8" weights laying there next to them, I asked if they were for sale, he said yeah, but he hadn't listed them yet and didn't know what they were worth. We settled on $100 for all four. I just stripped them and primed them.

The big ones are 58 pounds each and the little ones are 15 pounds each. I'll post some more when I get them painted.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
