still doing up the old 3012 adapting a bolens 48" deck to fit simplicity just discovered (thanks ben!) that my tractor does not have the pto attachment to drive the mower does any one have pictures or instructions so that i can see what is missing and perhaps make it or buy it over there and ship out to aust as usual thanks

Darren, I may be able to scan you an exploded parts diagram tonight. But, I'll start by recommending that you buy an entire center PTO system, rather than trying to fabricate one yourself. The original ones use needle bearings on the PTO shaft (with a grease fitting) to be able to handle the high RPMs involved. The PTO also pivots and is spring loaded to maintain proper tension on it and the belts attached to it. I scanned and sent a exploded view last night. I may have another PTO unit to sell, but I'll have to look. Sam
