I am still trying to identify the model of my 2 Wards walking tractors. They are large frame with low-med.-high & rev. transmissions. Definitely not Model V. One has a large B&S engine and the other a Wisconsin. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Gary, The next Simplicity model is VB, which has a 7 hp B&S engine.Same trans as the V,VA just bigger engine.Simplicity VC also has 7 hp B&S engine, same trans plus hi-lo speed. Check out my web page, I have a Simplicity model charts with pictures and specs for all(most) the walking tractors simplicity made. Sounds like the one with the wisconsin could be a wards tractor I have in my 57 catalog. It has a small handle on the right side of the handle bars along with the two other clutch handles and had a big wisconsin engine. I don't know which Simplicity this cross references too.

Can you post pictures of what you are trying to identify. That would be a big help, if not e-mai pictures to me and I will try to help. GR-Made thompson@altelco.net
