The B series tractors run the snowblower from the front PTO shaft. A 4" pulley is mounted on the shaft, there are two pulleys on the snowblower hitch that guide the belt to the drive pulley of the blower and then reverse it back to the drive pulley on the tractor. The blower has a clutch mechanism that is controlled from the tractor for engagement/disengagement. They are a little touchy to get adjusted right. The 700 series used similar pulleys except that the clutch was bolted to the front of the engine and the lever was mounted inside the frame of the tractor. Most of the 900 series used a very long belt and ran the blower off of the center PTO. If you are looking to buy a snowthrower a good person in your area to talk to is Dave Christiansen or "dlc" Good Luck
