Variable drive chiv

I have a B 112 which has a bent chiv half on the front variable drive. Can it be straightened and expected to function properly, without eating belts? Thanks, Pete

For the sake of vibation on the BGB I'd recomend replacing the half, got one from Sandy Lake this summer and a few others on this site have them. I understand rebuilding the BGB pushes 200 bucks and you'll still need the pulley. 2 cents..MPH
