Error in Quick Reference Just Added to Site

Recommended Posts

I just found an obvious error (duh!) in the Quick Reference I added last night. The picture of the Regent on the Lawn Tractors page is WRONG... I'll correct it tonite.

BTW: Do you find this Quick Reference useful? I thought it would be much easier to use than the X-Reference table -- if there was enough info there to be valuable....

Must have been asleep at the wheel....[A href='http://207.254.26.135/Main/quick_ref.htm']http://207.254.26.135/Main/quick_ref.htm[/a]

Kent--I find this VERY useful! I especially like the picture, but also, having a synopsis of a model's configurations will make planning the search and purchase of a machine much easier for me.
Thanks for doing this, and I hope there will be a lot of these quick references.

Agco Allis still markets a 918 model which I think has
its roots in the Simplicity Sovereign line? Your new Quick Reference chart
is a neat concept but does need some more detail.

Thanks Tuffy for pointing out the other error with the years of production on the 900 series. The source document was correct (I also verified it on the Simplicity site) -- it was my mistake.... Teaches me to do this when I'm so tired....

Thanks again. Please point out ALL errors you notice, so that I can correct them....

Hi Kent, I personally feel that it is a great idea and of course anyone as you kown will and can find mistakes with anything posted. But point being weather you write it or Simpicity no one person can be 100% acurate all of the time. Keep of the great job as usuall and yes it will help us all along with the x-reference. Keep experimenting as it benifits us all "THANKS KENT"->jack-happyjack<-

Hello glad I got on this site. I hope to upload a couple of photos of my Simplicity Broadmoor
Model 707 Tractor. I have replaced all the belts on it and installed a new ignition switch.
Have a mower deck which was in poor shape , repaced a couple of bushings and welded the
deck where there was some holes. The tractor and mower deck came from a friend and the
mower deck metal was getting pretty thin. Some new metal was put in it and we also undercoated the underside of the deck. This was done by my friend Greg Toulman.
I have not put the mower deck on the tractor yet, waiting for Greg to come home and give me a hand. Can you please tell me if there is a manual for the mower deck and where I could get one.
I would also like to get some moon wheel discs as well.
I will try and down load some photos of the tractor when my wife shows me how to.
I really love driving this tractor and also how well it is made compare today's tractors, especially the flexible rear end and the rollers.
      Tell the next time
      Paul
