7100 question

I have a 7100 model GTH-L - how do I know what year it was manufactured, and how can I determine which attachments are available? It has a plow, 48 inch deck, and a rear hitch - are vacuum collecters easy to find, and do they work (would just use for 3 acres of leafs in fall)? thanks

Simplicity tractors are identified by model number not by year. Therefore, you may only be able to determine in what range of years your tractor was produced. Get your 169xxxx number and do a search on the Simple trACtors site. Or, call Simplicity with your 169xxxx number. The 7100 GTHL is a “Large Frame Garden Tractor”. Many attachments were made that will work with your tractor. Browse Simple trACtors. Basically, any attachment listed for the Allis “B”, 700, 900 series and Simplicity 3000, 7000, and 7100 series will probably fit your tractor with little or no modification. Do you have a question on any specific attachment ..? Several different types of vacuum collectors were made for these tractors. All can be found. You just have to hunt for them. I have a PTO driven type, and it works great.

I have a frame mounted, pto-driven vacuum collector. I used it last night on the leaves and my lawn is now completely leave free. Kind of reminds you of a thick carpet that has recently been swept.
