Kent someone is looking for JD parts can you HELP him.

Only if JD stands for Jack Daniels (I'm originally from Tennessee, remember)... Seriously, I'd steer him to the Yahoo John Deere club. I don't know much about them, and certainly don't have any...

I hate to admit it here, but I have 2 JD 110's along with my Simplicity. There is a link on the Yahoo JD Garden Tractor Club to Historic American Parts Co (HAPCO) They have quite an offering of reproduction restoration parts, though expensive. Many mechanical parts may still be avaialable thru a JD dealer.

Gee Kent, seems to me I recall hearing that you brought something home from the Brooklyn show that was green???

Yes, I did bring a green and yellow tractor home from the Brooklyn show.... A Simplicity 700 spray-painted JD green with yellow wheels -- I didn't really need the tractor, I just wanted to save it from public embarassment.... Kind of like picking up skinny, mangy old stray animals and taking them home.... Actually, it will be the donor tractor to rebuild/restore a rusty old B-1 that I picked up recently...
