Carb settings CCKB in 4041

Hope someone out there know the correct float setting and the initial setting for the high speed jet for above tractor. I have a book that gives two different settings on the float and it's not clear where the measurements are taken, from the gasket surface or the lower rim of the carb. Thanks for any help you can give me. Doug

Measurements are taken from the gasket surface. Float is usually set parallel to this surface. 1 1/2 turns open is good as a starting point. Bill
