BEVEL GEAR BOXES

Marion, I think the BGBs on all the B-series 3-speed tractors (and Simplicity equivalents) are essentially the same, as far as I know. The variable speed ones have a longer threaded shaft on the right side. Otherwise they look the same. I'm not sure about hydros... The 728 Simplicity is a Broadmoor, and totally different, with a vertical shaft engine. Kent

Are the bevel gear boxes the same on the old Simplicity 725 and 728 models as the Allis Chalmers B-10 models? Have a chance to buy one cheap if they will fit one of my b-10 tractors. I believe they are the same but not sure..
