snow blower chute

Well after I put a remote rotator on the snowe blower chute, on my bigten. I wondered about putting a linear actuator to tilt the angle of the top of the chute. Of course I got help on this wonderful Club site. I got a linear actuator form surpuls center .com for 14.95 plus shipping. And also got a DPDT center off switch from them also. Wired the same as the rotator. It is great not having to get off the tractor to do adjustments. especially with a tricky drive way. I will post a photo.

I know you said it but...PHOTO!!! I've been wanting to do the same thing to mine, even if I'll probably never use it. As long as the direction is right a 45 degree angle works perfect for me.

Very nice. I've seen a few done with that ballscrew type motor now. I have a few cylinder style actuators around, but I think they are all going to be to heavy and long.
