Has anyone ever had to replace the 2 round blocks that ingage the hub on the Hi LO. Mine was made aftermarket and looks and functions identically but the blocks were made of cheap plastic and are completely worn out. Any and all help would be awesome. Chopper

Yup...many members are using a reproduction alternative made of nylon or delrin. My nylon wears a bit fater than the delrin, but both have great life. I remove my HiLo's for winter use, or mowing season, to save the hours on them, and that would help perserve your pivots.

The Hi/lo pivots were originally aluminum with a plastic insert. Evidently the aluminum parts are still availible but I'm not sure about the inserts. These are a common wear item on the Hi/Lo and is an oft discussed topic here. Run a search for hi/lo for more info.

Some members have used hickory in the metal inserts.

I use the delrin.

I have some extra sets, give me a call and i'll get you a pair.
