Right now, its the 416H for several reasons-

fav allis.jpg

Its the only one big enough for me & my helperIts unstoppableThe 611 is too small to be hopping on & off to unplug the blower in heavy winter clothingThe B-10 is not available at this time....

My favorite (like many other of you) is my first, the tractor that got this all started for me...my 7010-3 speed w/manual lift...it is now a 7010-6speed w/electric lift. and lots of attachments.Even with 9 tractors now I can NEVER sell this tractor...

This one I call my "Boy Tractor". He is my fav tractor. He 'talks' to me in a primitive (language-less) manner. He is definitely a boy. He doesn't lie; warns me about upcoming maintenance. He only ever let me down when I ignored his warnings. Our communion is very unique. I doubt people take this seriously; but he is very powerful. He is also my fav because of the unique styling of the 700-series tractors. Upcoming maintenance includes deck repaint and front wheel bearing and steers. Also a fuel pump. He is eager to try snowblowing; esp. if I can get all that installed and working soon. But we have had a busy year, up until very recently. He is a 1979 Allis Chalmers 716H. (year determined from x-ref and Kohler engine codes). Paint is original. He is one of the last 716's made. Shortly after him, Simplicity changed to the 900-series tractors. I like those also; but tend to favour the 700 styling. This is my first real tractor. I appreciate all I have learned through the members of this forum. There is more to learn. It seems to be an endless process. I also tend to believe that doing maintenance as needed, tends to eventually become a near full restoration. I enjoy helping others by passing along the information that has been freely given to me. That is a very sustainable practice with many benefits. I am not alone in that either: it's the founding nature of this club. Many have gone before us; and there is a great deal of diversity of experience available.

There are functions I love about other machines I have, or have had, but my favorite would be my first as well. The one that got me started in this mess...my Grandfather's B-110.

I'm very new to this having got my first tractor in September 2012, a 7117 that was given to me and had been sitting for 15 or so year. Here is a picture of it now.

I'd have to say mine is my first, the 6212.5 repower. It's never left me high/dry, and continues to surprise me in it's capabilities. I'm entering into the fdt world now. So we'll see what happens next.

My favorite would have be my old faithful B12.Its done anything and everything I've asked for 9 years.

feb09033.jpg

2nd, and the one I'm probably most proud of would be the "one off Custom B10 Taxi"

Or my personal toy, this winters worker. Squire 9

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
