Took an hour and half off this morning and went to watch our local wresling team working out uptightness, Thats where most of these young mouths need to be, but hot air don't last on the matts. Takes a few to give the lot a bad name, seems those who are involved in highschool activities get the best grades and are the most fun to be around..Sure glad all you young men ain't like that...thanks to you..MPH

Hey Walley, I have had people pull me over to buy something before, and I have also sold stuff before I had the chance to load it up, but I assure you these were no AC/ Simplicity collectors. I was just minding my own business enjoying the day..........................

I had the same run in today, only I was pulling a gravity box farm wagon with a newer F-150 P.U. anyways, it was on route 71 in Newark IL, I have the SMV sign properly attached, an aftermarket flasher, and always was sure I slowed down at a slower rate to prevent colision and always made right turns, I got a few cars shaking fists, showing me I'm #1 with there middle finger, driving along shouting profanity and so on, I for one was disgusted, farmers have just as much legal use of the road as these "weekend warriors" do, I just hope these people realize what they do someday and figure out they are the ones doing the wrongful driving(road rage)-BradW

I was hauling a full truck and trailerload of yellow and orange home today(so I guess this is tractor related) when I had to stop for a car to turn off in front of me in a little town called Galva. I heard a honk behind me. Well I went on down the street and the honking started again , so I slowed to pull off thinking maybe I was loosing part of the load. Well, the two teenage boys(17-19 my guess)in a red little 2 door pulled up beside in the opposite lane(we were all still moving) and began cussing me out, fingering me and shaking their fists at me ,using intense profanity, something about my tail lights not working. On they went down the street and pulled off leaning out the car windows and continued with their "impressive" vocabulary and were actually getting downright threatening to the point I was not entirely sure of their sanity. I kept on going. Later I stopped and found my tailights working properly. I don't suppose they took into consideration that the sunlight on the back of my vehicle makes them hard to see when on. If I had done that sort of thing when I was their age and my folks found out, ohhhhh it would have been bad, very bad. Looks to me like these two need to be run through the Marine Corps for a little attitude adjustment. Id like to see them mouth off like that to a drill sergeant! Like Rodney Dangerfield says, "I get no respect."

Sam, I sympathize with you. The Marine Corps may help but the parents are at fault most of the time. We have to watch them like hawks and most don't. People just don't like to see the older guys kicking these young pups asses anymore. Not all of them need it just a few to set an example for the others.

A 3012V for parts, 32"tiller with extensions(complete and working) B210V( runs great but needs a oil seal, paint and seat, and PTO work) Yellow 46"adjust from the seat blade(needs a little fixing to sell) AC yellow 540RPM PTO attacment, B110 3 speed short frame( no seat and needs restored) 2 mower decks( 1 missing center spindle both need bearings but solid) 67' B-10 grill with side chrome and emblems(pretty nice) 3410S for parts All that in a S-10 short bed with a 6x10 tilt trailer. I'd have to say without a doubt that is the most I have packed into that truck to this date, and with no room to spare. Next weekend its a Homelite T-16 w/ tiller, blade, deck, plow, hitch, disc. and deck I had to call in a friend of mine for another possible run. We are going up with two trucks and trailers to look at a half dozen older rigs and a barn full of "New" older parts that a person bought out from a old Simplicity dealer going out of business years ago. Supposedly has more than one of the hydro lift setups for the older tractors. "IF" that pans out and a deal is struck, I could be like a kid in a candy store. We will have to see what happens. Won't count chickens till they hatch, but it will be interesting just looking anyhow. So, how many of you still doubt the power of those want ads I put in the papers????
