Ag Tires - 6-12 vs 23x8.50x12

Recommended Posts

Has anyone here tried putting 6-12 ags on the wheels that came with 23x8.50x12 tires? I have an old Landlord and I want bar grips and tri-ribs, but I don't like the way the 23x8.50x12 tires look.

There is roughly a 2" addition gap to close when going from 6-12 rims to 23X8.50X12 rims which I think is next to impossible and if it is possible the tread profile will go from a concave design to a convex design. If you don't like the looks of what you have now I can almost guarantee you will hate the new look if it can be done.

Narrow rims are commonly considered throw aways by folks junking old walk behinds. 4, 5 and 6" rims are common for those applications. The 7" rim won't work for you.
