Pulled the engine in my no spark B110. Found the wire from the megafire to the coil had a couple of cracks in it. All else looks good. Is there a way to bench test a coil and Mega Fire, or do you just start replacing parts? Bit discouraging. I bet the coil, Mega Fire and plug don't have 10 hours of run time on them. What should the gap on the coil be? I've read that the Mega Fire needs a bit more than the old points. I'm probably at about .01 now. I assume that I could set up a gas tank and try to start the engine on the bench. Will turning the flywheel by hand get me enough rotation to see any spark? Really don't want to pull the engine more than once.
