Simplicity still sells the short ones for 101 Landord, B 10 ect. through a Simplicity dealer. Around $20 new.

The one in the picture is the one that still available through Simplicity, part# 156175. They are too short to work effectively. The tank reads near empty when almost full. I found that someone had put a longer one in my HB-212 but I don't have a part# for it. The actual tank depth is over 7" I believe.

Here is the difference between the 156175 fuel gauge and the one found in my HB-212.

The 5.5" gauge will work much better.

id="quote">Yup, the 156175 currently offered looks great, but is all but worthless for telling fuel level. I've eft my old ones (longer) in, and pull them to see how far they are wet, vs watching the newer version's gauge.

Most of mine are difficult, if not impossible to read thru the clouded lens. However, they continually bounce when I'm mowing.

I've learned over time, when it stops bouncing, I got about 9 minutes to get back near the gas can. :D:D

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
