No attachments except mower deck. Rear lift missing and strange the lift indicator. Good battery, electric lift and the electric pto works.

I was looking at that on Craigslist. I just didn`t want to drive the 375 mile round trip to pick it up. Atleast it found a home with a member.

Glad to see someone grabbed that thing! Was listed for a while, and very reasonable too. It was driving me nuts. He had a revitalizer with it, but that sold quick. I can't wait to see more of it!

Congrats on a good 16hp find what trans does that one have?

Yes it is a vickers. I will save it for sure, anyone have an extra 16 hp blower housing? This one has a big hole in the bottom.

Does anyone have manuals for this parts, owners, service?

Definetly a different animal, I was just getting use to the left hand discharge.:D

id="quote">Any blower housing will fit 10 to 16 hp I'm pretty sure. I have a nice set of 12 hp tin on ebay now.If you want "correct" numbers on your tin, PM me your numbers and I'll see what I got. I do have a couple 16's to tear down so I might have the correct model and type. Codes may not be the same, depending on year. You'd have to get pretty lucky to find the same code.

From model years '73 thru '76 Simplicity used this Briggs model, type 16HP engine, 326431 0127-01. Assuming Homelite used the same type, that could have leading digits of 72 thru 75 in its s/n. Les K in his history said 1975 was last year that they were built.

I will check tonight I would like it to be a 16 horse code anyway.

One other question it appears to have a 7000 series plastic tank sitting sideways. What does original look like?

I never thought I would own an Allis built tractor, Hotdang.

I dont know what the original tank should look like, my T10 did not have the right one.

I'll check tonight and see what numbers I can come up with

Here is the original gas tank for my T-10. It does sit cross ways. My T-10 looked about like your T-16 when I got it. Allis did not waste any paint when they built the Homies. A quick shot and out the door.

id="quote">Is it plastic and tapered on the end, like the 3300 - 7000 series? Not much paint from factory?

The Allis built Homelite gas tanks are unique. Here' a couple pics:

The tanks are subject to splitting along the main seam, and the outlet barb can also crack and leak. I have electronic copies of the parts manual for these tractors; send me your email addie and I'll send them to you. And based on a pic RayS sent me of the mule drive of your tractor, your Hommie is an early model with a front axle that looks like this:

Runs good, no leaks at vickers, the bad: no start with key, carb leaks between upper and lower halves and generator's fried other than that I am going to put it to work. Anyone fix the leak between the halves of the carb? Seal all, double gasket, file?[

I have a T-10 and a T-12. They are different in some ways, but similar in other ways. My T-10 is simplicity built and the T-12 is an allis chalmers build. Have fun with it, and good save for a scarce and getting rarer tractor.

Looks like you've got a couple of good looking young operators coming into the fold Mike. Love those old large frame Homelites.
