Unofficial Home of Old Simplicity & Allis-Chalmers Garden Tractors

Homelite garden tractor Identical to yeoman?

I just bought a homelight garden tractor model T-8, and I have been told that it was built by simplicity, and all of the belts have Allis Chalmers and Simplicity stamped on them. It has a rear end that is very similar to the simplicity tractors that I have seen. The dump cart that came with it is also a homelite, and it has the dump feature where the body is independent of the frame, which to my understanding is a simplicity trademark.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Look everyone, here's one I can answer. Your T-8 is the equivalent to the Simplicity 5008, broadmoor. You can get the books from Simplicity, just order the ones for the 5000 series, if you give them a call, they're more than helpful, the manufacturer number that you want to give them is 1690008.
