i was wondering what kind of tractor had a tacasuma ¥dont know how to spell¤ engine? it has a symbol of a indians head on it© please help, going to ask man if he wants to sell© brendonv

That's a Tecumseh engine, named after the Indian Chief Tecumseh... Look him up some time, he's "big time" -- he almost united all the Indian tribes in the Central United States against the American white men.... These engines are pretty common, and it could be one of many different kinds of tractors. Many old Sears tractors had them, for example. Simplicity and many other manufacturers use them on snowblowers (Tecumseh Snow King engines), but they generally are not considered as tough as Briggs or Kohlers when you put them in a tractor....
