Looking for info on Midland tractors

Anybody out there know anything about the Midland walk-behind tractor sold thru Wards? Who made it, where and when? Is there any information on the internet about the parent company (I can't find anything). There are a few pictures on this website, but not much info. to be gleaned anywhere else, however, a couple of club members have helped with brochures. Thanks for any replies/help. GK
