The drive part is the difference. It can be changed to fit but I can't say for sure what you would need to change. Pulley size for the right speed? Les Kreifels I think has done this,if he comes on he could probibly tell ya. good luck Steve J

Jack The B10 type sicklebar is a nice unit for fields , but will not easily adapt to the 700 series , themain problem isthe pto next is the lift you would have to run with the right running board removed or make a modified one. Your best bet would be to find an old B series or simp.of the correct vintage. Another problem is the sicklebar has to run at very low RPM and the Kohler doesn't like low speed. Cal

I did try to run a sickle bar on a 7016, my idea was to mount a PTO off of a B-Series and use those pulleys. After looking at it for awhile, I decided that the modifications needed were just too extensive to be practical. Someone told me that the 700/7000 series tractors ran the sickle bar off of the front PTO. This would seem to be too many rpm without the right reducer pulley. On the B-series, you run the engine at half throttle and the mower drives off of a 4 inch pulley. Run the sickle bar too fast and you will break its' wobble box.
