I have never been a big fan of the "racing" hoods that came on the B110 or B112's. We have always used a B210 or B212 in place of it. But on this last project I finally pulled the trigger and made My own hood from the extra parts laying around. What you'll need:*Simplicity square hood*Grill side grill part (has the bend already in it you need) otherwise you could use flat piece of sheet steel.*Welder*Clamps*Hammer*Table Vice*PatienceStarted with the Hood Primed and Prepped. You'll need to sand back where you weld so it doesn't burn when welded.

Leftovers from cutting up a side grill part

All Bent, Clamped, and ready to weld

After Sanding, Priming, and First coat of paint

The smoothed blends looks better than OEM in my opinion

One more coat of rattle cans then time to wet sand and finish her up for decals :D

Casting a duplicate of the Aluminum OEM Emblem for the grill and have the mesh screen on order. Will bend it, paint it, and screw into place sm01 Let me know what you guys think!

Just put 1 more coat yellow on, Ill wet sand the areas I touched up then it's time for: 3 layers of clear coat, Wet sand 1500 grit, and buff to glass :P Decals are on the way and upper grill is ready. I'll get images of the Allis aluminum logo I polished to Mirror finish :D
