I think that is the unit that takes a small battery kind of like a motorcycle and it sits down between the front of engine and the grill.Maybe someone else can confirm this and ad to it. mowerman1193

Thats right. Uses a motorcycle battery mounted on a little plate bolted between the engine and the grill. I have a mounting plate for $15 if needed. SmilinSam

Hi, I have a 1972 yeoman 7hp. I've seen them with lights, mine doesn't even have a place for a battery, but I would like to put lights and a starter genorator. Where would I put a battery? Thanks, paulie
