3410 engine model number

I have a 3410 with a good decal on the Briggs blower housing. I don't want to damage the decal. Is there a list somewhere of the model and type numbers that were used on that model of mower? I didn't see that information in the parts list in owners manual.

It should be staked into the shroud of it under the carb. Might be hard to read with a good wipe down you should be able to make it out

I'll look there. I expected it to be under the decal next to the spark plug.

If you have an originqal engine, this is model and type number you should have, 243431 0627-01.

Thanks Bob. I believe that it is original. Certainly not having any luck finding the model number. Do you have this information from in the past, or is it available through Simplicity?

The original type number is 0127 found here http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/engine/engine_ref.htm and my own later info was updated to 0627. Here is where you look for Model/Type/S/N info.
