Three bolt Flow-jet

I was at my local dealer today.

He had an old Milwaukee Electric Tool 3kw 110/220vac generator sitting on his floor.

It sported an 8hp Briggs engine with a code starting with "75".

He said with a little ignition work, the engine will run.

Aside from all the patina, it looks like the carb is original as far as the age and color match of the paint.

I thought they stopped making the three bolt carbs back in the 60's?

They were available at least to 1992. Simplicity bought snowblower engines that year and they had three bolt carb. Could have been last year because of emission rules.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
