3112 front end part

I have my 3112h in several pieces. (I was made aware of this fact when my wife asked where the lawn mower was at I bought.:) I got it upside down and there were 2 bolts hanging down (not attached to anything). My question is, Does some kind of bracket go here it is under where the engine goes. The hanger brackets that are attached to the front axle where the front of the deck attaches has a yoke type bar with a pin pointed towards the rear of the tractor. Does the pin just hang there? There is a bracket with a hole in it that the end of yoke goes into. The bracket looks like a piece of angle iron with a hole drilled in it for that "pin" to go in...
