Wanna-Lift??

I found something new to me while deconstructing a Simplicity 3416S. There was a Snow Plow with a spring loaded lift rod slid into this collar & held with the setscrew. There is a pivot bearing recessed into the lift arm..:o

Very unusual...This can't possibly be OEM....Can it ??

Looks like they took a lot of steel out of that rocker arm though. Those babies can take a beating...not sure I'd want to cut a hole that large in one, even with the spring in play.

Thanks Josh...THAT convinced me. It cant be any OEM variation because they wouldn't cut away that much of the metal...The PO went to alot of trbl to mount this, but the spring loaded lift was needed as this was a dedicated snow plow tractor. It is still very strange 8
